Elizabeth & Alfred, Italy

Elizabeth and Alfred tied the knot in the stunning and private atmosphere of Villa Cimbrone, overlooking panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast…

Elizabeth and Alfred celebrated their romantic and intimate family wedding at Villa Cimbrone,  a 12th Century country residence, set in a centuries-old six hectare park. Sitting at the very top of Ravello, it offers spectacular views across the Amalfi Coast. Without a doubt this venue is a unique and thoroughly enchanting setting for a wedding.

Elizabeth and Alfred celebrated their wedding ceremony in the Tea Room garden. The flower-filled ground features a beautiful and characteristic open pavilion and is filled with colourful ancient roses. For Elizabeth and Alfred’s ceremony, lovely arrangements and garlands of white roses, peonies and other flowers decorated with charm the entire ambience, adorning the wedding with a magical aura.

After the ceremony, Elizabeth and Alfred wandered through Villa Cimbrone’s charming gardens and grounds and made their way to the sublime Terrace of Infinity, a natural balcony, adorned with eighteenth century marble busts; as such, it boasts truly breathtaking and unparalleled  views.

The guests delighted themselves with a stroll around Cimbrone’s Crypt, an evocative Gothic-style open gallery, that welcomed the main wedding banquet. After dinner and speeches, Elizabeth and Alfred cut their delicious wedding cake in the Crypt’s mystic and romantic setting and as the evening made its way to an end they performed their first dance for their beloved guests.
