Emily and Adam tied the knot surrounded by the majestic beauty of the South of France
Emily & Adam chose to celebrate their wedding in the South of France. Chateau De Lisse instantly pulled at their heart strings. On arrival I have to say that it was even more striking than the photos did justice. It really is a stunning venue and somewhere we still feel hugely fortunate to have found. We were fortunate that the Chateau itself housed the entire bridal party and as we only had 80 people coming to the wedding, this didn’t leave a huge number to find accommodation for. We very much had to put our faith in Jo, our wedding planner and her team to decorate things as we had hoped, but it was the little touches that took the majority of our time, but we knew it would make all the difference.
Emily’s was a bespoke number created by Catherine Hunter at Catherine Blades Couture. Catherine really did create my dream dress which, in my opinion, was elegant, classy and finished with beautiful detailed touches.
Emily was very particular about the type of makeup and therefore decided that I would go to Charlotte Tilbury with one of my bridesmaids who helped me do my makeup on the day. With regards to the hair, the chateau recommended a hair stylist who came and did all the bridesmaids hair, mine and my mother’s. She did a great job and it really was a military operation over the course of the morning (champagne glass in hand of course).
Adam & Emily were also extremely fortunate to have a family member who worked in events and was hugely helpful in putting together a rundown of the day. Whilst it was very much regimented, it meant that we didn’t miss a thing and absolutely everything went to plan on the big day, which is all we could ask for.
