Emma & Dan tied the knot and celebrated in style at a dreamy venue in Puglia, Italy.
“I’ve always dreamed of getting married in Italy, as the food is out of this world and the people are so hospitable. My wedding planner sent me the details of the Masseria Potenti and after a fleeting 24 hour visit, I was in love! I felt like part of the family the moment I arrived, and the place was incredible. I loved the rustic, bohemian vibe.
The venue offered a lot of decorations to choose from. We went for some large Apulian lights and an upside down flower canopy over the tables. I knew I wanted a deep burgundy to contrast the white-washed surroundings, so I ended up choosing a light blue to go with it.
For my dress, I went to a number of London boutiques, but settled on a custom-made Mira Zwillinger gown from Browns Bride after attending a trunk show. I never thought I’d go for strapless, but somehow it just felt right. I wanted a Hollywood curl to complement the strapless neckline of my dress, and had my hair clipped to the side to give it a fresh style without the need for retouching throughout the day.” – Emma
