How did you get into wedding planning?
It starts with us being big softies. We love it all! Hugs, kisses and emotions inspire our work, and probably 99% of time weddings leave us in tears. Apart from this, we know that brides and grooms coming to Apulia need experts by their side, and this is where we come in. We work with the best of the best in the wedding industry and we succeed each time, by supplying top locations and qualified wedding professionals in the region.
How does your company exceed all expectations?
Apulia has everything a couple needs to enjoy a true Italian wedding, and with this in mind, we founded Princess Apulia. We want to attract couples to this less known, but exceptional region and help them create their fairytale wedding. We pride ourselves on finding the ‘impossible locations’ that fussy brides and grooms dream for their one-of-a-kind destination wedding, and of course, we make it happen, whether it is a castle, luxury private villa or picturesque park.
The planning process can often be daunting for couples. How do you ensure it is smooth and efficient?
First of all, I always advise couples to follow their hearts, and never make decisions based on what their family and friends think. And to have everything in place on the big day there is only one simple solution…hire a destination wedding planner.
How do you go about modifying your approach to ensure that it is bespoke for each couple?
Listening is key! Every couple is different and comes with personal and unique requests. The job of the wedding planner is to understand the needs of the clients and deal with them in a professional matter, but most of all, with lots of love and attention.
What are your favourite wedding trends this year?
Hand-crafted wedding invitations are at the top of my list, and I am sure we will see lots of them in 2020. With this, I don’t mean DIY, but artistic masterpieces, realised by professional crafters. Colours are giving that extra something to weddings and I can’t wait to see more of the Neo Menta, Purist Blue, and Mauve during Spring 2020. These new hues also go hand-in-hand with the outdoor and enchanted forest theme that is becoming so popular for destination weddings.
Italy is all about great food, what can we expect from the culinary world this 2020?
2020 will be all about culinary creativity. I can picture a buffet-style reception, but with a modern twist. A way for the guest to discover new flavours, as well as, almost forgotten ones. It is all about choices, making sure that new foods are presented together with worldwide delicacies. To make it outstanding, the chefs should perform their magical preparations-this is how you transform a simple reception into a great show. If you want to get creative and at the same time keep the Apulian traditions you can opt for the typical angoli pugliesi served in food trucks!
Why do couples choose Apulia?
Apulia is a Mediterranean gem; comprised of dazzling cities and hamlets, a luxurious countryside, and a splendid coast, what else do you need? This area of Italy is not as touristy as other parts of the country, meaning that you can enjoy your wedding day without having to worry about crowds and fully booked locations. We know that by working with us in our territory, your wedding will be an experience like no other.
