Rock ‘n’ Roll Afternoon Tea at The Gore

Rock ‘n’ Roll flair has been knocking at The Gore’s door since 1968 and new events keep rolling in…

For all rock ‘n’ roll nostalgic fans, don’t miss out on the opportunity of a mouth-watering revival! Make your way to The Gore and delight in their Rock ‘n’ Roll themed afternoon tea. In partnership with the luxury event planners La Fête, 190 Queen’s Gate is adding some extra musical vibes to their traditional English tea hour.

Immerse in the opulence of 190 Queen’s Gate and enjoy the chic rock ‘n’ roll style of their signature afternoon tea…

Every little detail is personalised and pays tribute to the best rock ‘n’ roll moments in history; The Woodstock-a Chipolata hot dog-in reference to 1969’s iconic Woodstock music festival, The ‘Popping’ Stones-tasty paprika popcorns-recalling the legendary Rolling Stones and their link to The Gore Hotel. On the sweet note, must-tries are The Lizard King- a yummy ‘Pint’ of mango and chocolate mousse- paying homage to The Doors’ frontman Jim Morrison’s alter ego and particularly, Bobby Klein’s 1967 photograph of Morrison having a beer for breakfast, as well as, Sweet ‘Choux ‘ O’ Mine-a raspberry cream surprise topped with a sensational chocolate guitarist.  Everything is delicious and camera-ready, with a mini drum-set taking centre stage!

Having tried it ourselves, this afternoon tea is for sure a rock ‘n’ roll delight and we’ll keep it in our hall of fame for many years to come!
