Rosa and Dane tied the knot in the tropical serenity of Thailand…
“Dane and I are from two different continents, extremely far from one another. We wanted to find a mid-point for both sides of our families — and since we live in Asia, it was ideal for us to have our wedding here. Thailand was the best place because of its natural beauty. It is truly a paradise.
Before choosing our venues, we flew to Phuket to make sure we found the best venue for us. We visited a few places and the last place that we went to was Jia and Shanti at Jivana Villas. Both villas were breathtaking – a gorgeous beachside setting. We decided to rent both villas and have our wedding at Jia. For the décor, I wanted lots of flowers and candles. I was going for a romantic, elegant look that was classic but somewhat modern.
I bought my wedding dress from Rosa Clará in Miami. I always knew that I wanted to wear a Spanish designer’s wedding dress to represent my roots. A lot of my colour palette inspiration came from Pinterest. I love the whole white, gold and ivory combination. It is clean, beautiful and you could never go wrong with any of those colours.” – Rosa
